As Patti Page once sang, “If you’re fond of sand dunes and salty air, you’re sure to fall in love with Olde Cape Cod!”  The Sand Dunes of The Hillcrest B&B puts the guest in the mind of Olde Cape Cod.  Sunny windows on the southeast side of the house welcome in the morning.  Soft breezes, fragrant aromas and the typical chirpings and sounds of Lewis Bay and Kalmus Beach waft along in greeting the corners of this cozy guest room.  A comfortable queen bed, an antique dresser and mirror, sand colored carpeting and walls, and shell-studded end tables create an ambiance of ease and relaxation.

Ceiling fan and air conditioner keep guests cool when summer temps rise. Guests in the Sand Dunes have their own private full bathroom.  Yes, they need to slip out into the hallway to use the facilities, but they may do so discreetly by wearing one of the robes provided by the hosts.

The Ocean Breeze, with its king size bed and private bath, is located on the south facing side of the house.  The summer sunshine and lovely sea breezes fill it with the light and fragrance of being so near the ocean.  Its cathedral ceiling gives it a somewhat dramatic flair where guests will find a multi-setting paddle fan to circulate the air.  For the guest who likes cool comfort on those occasional mid-summer days and nights, this room is equipped with efficient air-conditioning.   Always a popular choice among guests, the Ocean Breeze is tastefully decorated and comfortable.
